I'm looking forward to making the trip over to Denton for the Tech/North Texas game

This one's easy. The ODU game. Though Coastal will be nice too.

I'm looking forward to road football games in Norfolk, Charlotte, Nashville, Bowling Green, Boca Raton and Miami. Will still do the occasional trip to Birmingham as well.
With those destinations I can spend a little time at the beach, the golf courses, music city...Does it get any better than that?
I'd also like to make it to the Alamo some day when the Herd travels to play San Antonio.

UNC and NCSU, just cause they're both less than 100 miles away.

Tulane. It will be the last time we play them in the Superdome. Hopefully, I can get to N.O. a few days early and have some fun. Might even make a drive out to Avondale for dinner at Mosca's, even though it will make me smell like garlic for several days (won't have to worry about vampires).

UNC! it's the toughest match up of the year and our season ending game and I can see a big ODU contingent there. It should be fun.

Agree.....one and only game (maybe) against mtsu.....could be the team to beat for cusa football title:)
Note: could not believe how cheap "newies" football tickets cost:
@mtsu: $24, @fiu: $21.....compared to @unc: $60 and @ncsu: $65

If you're coming to Denton, a few places you have to check out.
Mainly, the Square. Tons of quirky shops, restaurants...an AWESOME record store, comic book store, little boutiques, restaurants, etc. Also, go check out a show, somewhere, even if you don't know the band. I'd recommend checking something avant-garde out. There's ALWAYS something playing at any of our clubs.
As far as food, check out J&J's Pizza on the Square if you like the thin crust style. Denton Square Donuts has good breakfast...square donuts! Haha. Mi Casita has cheap but amazing and authentic mexican food. Don't be surprised if you are a little underwhelmed at first, Denton isn't the prettiest town, (very old) but it has SO much character in being old and you have to go explore.
Anyway, Tulsa. I love Tulsa. Such a hidden gem. I saw the Pumpkins at Cain's, and what a badass little city. Probably Tulane, too. And Georgia. My family just moved to Atlanta.

As someone who will be rooting for FIU, I think El Paso, San Antonio, Hattiesburg, Charlotte, Huntington and Norfolk will be fun GAME atmospheres. Basically, schools that are either established, good C-USA schools or start/move-ups that seem to have a great deal of fan support.
This is nothing against Sun Belt schools, or the "equivalent" such as UNT, LT, MTSU and WKU. You're just kind of "known" quantities thus far.
PS - I assumed this was in-conference games, but apparently it's not?
