Beats a bunch of block letters as a logo. I agree with the earlier poster. Old ACC logo was much better.

RE: Who has the best Power 5 logo?
I like the SEC logo best, but the 3D shading on the letters could be much better.

The Pac-12 logo is creative and I like the colors and the shield, but the letters feel too squished towards the top.

The B1G logo is nice and all, but I don't really think many people see the "10" in the logo unless they went looking for it.

ACC logo is a little too plain.

Big-12 logo looks like it was designed for a late 80's video game. 03-razz

The Pac12 has the best logo by far. Outstanding. The rest are very bland and can be ranked in any order.

Other than the PAC, I think they are generic as hell. But I can't say I really like the PAC logo either because of what I said earlier about it looking like a desktop icon.

...actually, if you look at the blue 'crest' from the left leg of the 'A', just over the '12', that is representing...an ocean wave. So the Coast and the Mountains are represented... now if they could just work a cactus in there for the AZ teams... 03-lmfao

For me, its PAC 12 and not close. I love that design. Classy, clean, and fitting.

After a huge gap, its B1G next and then ACC (coast design one).

RE: Who has the best Power 5 logo?
1) OLD ACC
2) PAC12 (and I too always thought that was a mountain, not an ocean wave)
3) BIGXII - I'm probably one of the few that doesn't rank them near the bottom, although I see the arguments for that.
4) SEC
5) New ACC
6) B1G - Sorry.. but to me this one is BOOOOORING!! They tried to be creative with the g/0.. and it just falls flat to me.

The butt-ugly SEC logo proves that logos don't matter all that much.

Agreed. It's the shield design. Not a fan. Hate to say it, but the BiG gets my vote.

Cheers,

Yeah, its more along the lines of "with a name like Smuckers, it has to be good" ... attractiveness of the logo doesn't matter if you field enough top-25 football teams in the conference.

That's what I was thinking. I am a total and complete Big Ten hater, but using the G for the zero in 10 is a very simple but effective way to sum up the conference. The PAC logo is also extremely busy.

SEC is the worst logo but that goes to show that logos mean nothing. It's how much you pay players is where its at.

Edited to put logos in alphabetical order.

Aesthetics aside, I can't vote for the B1G or the B12 till they get the school numbers right.

One minor change to the Big XII logo would make it mathematically correct...

IXI = 9 plus 1
