Like I said all this happen to me and I never took an extra pill or anything that the doctor didn't prescribe and I didn't drink. The stomach pain would come on during stress especially while coaching football games.

Apparently he had some CTE.

But on day of his death he had been drinking (mixing) for hours while taking Class II narcotics.

He choked on his own vomit as a result.

Sad, tragic especially for wife and children but he was not killed by Football-related concussions.

You know, I read the mlive article a few times and I couldn't understand why he choked on his own vomit. I then read the Detroit News article, which was a bit better, and I still couldn't figure it out.

Now this makes sense.

Glad you worked your way through it , Kimbo.

Cullen was drinking that day but only had negligible alcohol levels in his blood stream at the time of his death. I agree that football related concussions did not kill him. But the concussions and back pain were secondary factors, and resulted from his football career.
