Rice,Southern Miss and UAB desperately want to ditch CUSA and get in the AAC with it's piers school. U La La in Lafayette hates the Sunbelt and is on it's knee to get in the Sunbelt 2.

You have to love it when someone uses academics as an insult and repeatedly fails to use proper grammar and correct spelling. There are a lot of errors in this post, but the use of "piers" in place of "peer" is my favorite.

Did you really attend a prestigious school like Tulane? Then you should know it's peers. A pier is where they usually dock boats. If you want to brag about academics then you better make sure you don't screw it up with misspellings. Oh, and there's no apostrophe in it's, you used "it is" instead of its. You could have left out schools too.

This is what you should have written: "Basically the new CUSA is now the Sunbelt 2. Rice, Southern Miss. and UAB desperately want to ditch CUSA and get in the AAC with its peers."

You mis-speak. According to U.S. News & Word Report, Louisiana Tech is a Tier One national academic university, whereas Memphis and some other new AAC members are not.

Thank you all for this thread. We have a limited time left in the conference and this classic CUSA pissing contest is just MUAW! I shall miss you all in your own special way. 03-lmfao

In the next round of realignment, I say we go for schools in large markets with little fan support... that way, we will get us 12-15 million per school on the next tv contract (football only). After they make fun of us, we will say they are butt hurt

funny how looking on the AAC board, a certain ECU poster likes to talk about how new CUSA has crappy teams and yet the AAC took two bottom feeders in Tulane & Memphis. I'll agree that while Memphis isn't a football power they at least make up for in with their basketball

Attendance and TV markets are more important than winning to some people.

No they want to win... that is why they took Memphis and Tulane... 2 games towards bowl eligibility for all the other teams.

if any conference was concerned about attendance then Tulane wouldn't have gotten invited
