Oklahoma - The Big 12 tourney champs will be the 2 seed in Blacksburg, Virginia. I think this will be a tough assignment but not impossible if the Sooners get hot enough.

Kansas State - Our regular season champs will host and be the #1 seed in their own regional but this could be tough for the Wildcats.

Okla. State - The Cowboys are the 3 seed in Louisville and this will be one very mighty mountain to scale.

If only the Sooners had Harrison Musgrave to go along with Gray in the rotation... 07-coffee3

K-State has the best chance of getting to Omaha, but I think OU can take VT.

One thing for sure about tourney time is that whoever gets hot at that moment can win the entire thing. I think OU definitely has a chance but for some reason I think KSU falters at home. Hope I'm wrong.

Believe me, if it had been up to me, we would have had UL and WVU and one other. I am still not sure about the logic behind passing on UL. I really believe that Texas and OU feel (and rightly so) that they can pretty much do whatever they want in terms of a conference alignment. Ten teams is a mighty big payout per team though. We could be looking at 30 to 40 million a year before it's over. I am actually a bit more concerned with the whole of college football and it's continued movement towards a semi-pro status. This is a big mistake, IMO.

Cincinnati, Louisville & West Virginia would have been a great combination. 04-cheers

Wilkie, it's water under the bridge now, since it's too late to change that decision. But it's a pity WVU couldn't have kept the budding rivalry being built with the Cards. Those were some really good games...

I do believe that Louisville will have a great deal of success in the ACC.
