Crazy. He was at GVSU the same time I was an undergrad and I remember watching those GVSU teams in the Div 2 playoffs on one of the ESPN channels. Hopefully this has a good outcome.

Story makes it sound like he may have had the beginning of hypothermia if he called his wife and said he was "concerned" or scared - then ran off into the woods. Once you have the early stages of hypothermia, you act irrationally and eventually start stripping off your clothes because you feel very warm - even though you are actually freezing to death. This does not sound good and it seems unlikely he will come out of the situation unless he found shelter and some way of staying warm.

Lake County Sheriffs have found Cullen, deceased in the Baldwin River. He leaves behind a wife and two children.

What a bizarre story. Too bad. His family must be devastated.

The part I don't understand is him getting separated from the group. They said he went off fishing on his own on Sunday. What happened between then and when he called his wife? If he hadn't called his wife, how long would the rest of his group have waited before looking for him? He was found very close to where the rest of the group was on Sunday. Like Toledo Football 1st said, it's a bizarre story.
