It's a figure of speech, BDK, paraphrased for what I consider the true meaning of the statements, incidentally made subsequent to his comment that we will be FBS in 18 to 24 months.

Well, we're just going to have to agree to disagree on the true meaning of those statements. You think the true meaning of the statements are CAA for life. I don't think they've insinuated that JMU is committed to the CAA for anything beyond 2013-2014. The most concrete thing JMU has put out is was 2+ months ago:

which reading between the lines didn't insinuate "CAA for life", it actually insinuated quite the opposite.
