RE: Has Conference usa
As of right now I believe it is as follows.

2013
East: ECU, FAU, FIU, Marshall, MTSU, S.Miss, UAB
West: LaTech, North Texas, Rice, Tulane, Tulsa, UTEP, UTSA

Not sure about 2014 as ECU leaves the east and Tulane and Tulsa leave the west. ECU will be replaced by WKU. Could look like this.

2014
East: FAU, FIU, Marshall, MTSU, UAB, WKU
West: LaTech, North Texas, Rice, S.Miss, UTEP, UTSA

After that ODU and UNCC come into the league meaning things will really have to be shaken up. UAB or MTSU may be put in the west after 2014.

We'll actually start play in '14 and we'll be uneven for a year until Charlotte comes in. Somebody will have to go West in '15, best guess is UAB but I don't know if it's been announced one way or the other.

They'll be done logically by looking at a map.. Just like every conference except the idiotic ACC

...and the SEC. Missouri is in the SEC East.

I think that has more to do with the fact that the easternmost SEC West teams are Alabama, Auburn, and Tennessee than anything else. Could you imagine the reaction had the SEC tried to split those three up?

Sorry Mizzou. Rookies get the short end of the stick.

UT is in the east, but yes they would have had to split up traditional western teams to add two new western teams.

However, the SEC map does make sense even if the names of the divisions aren't completely accurate. You can pretty much draw a straight line between the divisions (slightly bent for Florida)

Yep. The only other option for the SEC would be to move Auburn and Alabama to the east and Vandy and Missouri to the west. There is zero chance of Auburn and Alabama being split up.

Ha. Tell that to the ACC where the Big East teams got most rivalries preserved and FSU lost GT which is the closest team to them in confernece.

Glad CUSA does it the right way though. Geography should be the main way to split divisions.

I think the SEC should be a North South Division.

I asked our AD about a week ago if divisions had been nailed down going forward, and he said they had not.

I heard the same recently. There has evidently been quite a discussion over which two teams will move west out of UAB/USM/WKU/MT. I had always assumed it would be USM & UAB but you know what happens when you assume...

Can somebody make a map like this for the new C-USA with ODU and Charlotte?

Unless the league is out of its collective mind, MT/WKU should not be broken up into separate divisions. I would imagine that UAB would like to keep the game with USM and also have a permanent crossover with MT.

I know I speak for 99% of our fanbase and administration in saying that if we got sent West, we'd be royally pissed off. Not that anyone else would care...
