We are still hosting a Regional. Don't know what caused this collapse in Clearwater. My guess is they didn't give a flip about this tournament. How you go from winning 16 straight to losing 2 in a row to two of the worst teams in the league is the only explanation.

Very poor showing for UofL. If they had won the BE tournament they were 1 of 3/4 teams looking at the last national seed. They should still host but will be paired against Vandy in the Supers. Of course if they play like this next weekend you don't have to worry about a Super.

ACC still has a CWS Championship drought going back to 1954 when Wake won it all since the FSU and Miami Championships came before they entered the league but you would think sooner or later somebody in the ACC will win the CWS.

That's interesting, never knew that. Looking it up it looks like FSU has never actually won a national championship in baseball. (Never would have guessed that). Miami's last baseball title was in 2001.

The only current/future ACC schools that have won national championships are Miami and Wake.
