C-USA has been great for UCF and I'll always be a fan of the schools that we have competed against in our time here. That being said, once the influx of new schools that we don't have really have any history with happens, I'm sure the interest will start to wane. The only new school I don't count in that number is La Tech, mostly thanks to that 1998 game with Daunte Culpepper on our side and Tim Rattay/Troy Edwards on theirs.

Utah and BYU fans still go to MWC boards, so I don't see a problem with American fans coming to the CUSA board, as long as you keep the p-matches and flaming at bay.

Which is funny because the Big 12 is actually looking at UH and not some UT satellite campus near drug cartels and an open admissions rate. Who might I add was rejected by both the AAC and the MWC.

puhleeze, no matter how many threads get started on the realignment board by uh fans, anybody in their right mind knows that is not a possibility. If Texas and OU leave that could be a possibility, but not with the current line up.

Our interest is in the MWC, not the AAC, so you don't have to worry about the aac rejecting us. Did we blow our chance with MWC a couple years ago, possibly, but there is a much better chance of UTEP landing in the MWC than Houston not playing in the aac

The MWC could have taken UTEP anytime. Hell, they bypassed over you just to go out of their way to give us and SMU an invite. I think it's safe to say you guys aren't going anywhere anytime soon.

IDK man, the AAC board with the meltdowns over tv money, aresco, bowl games, and defections is almost too dark and twisted to read.

Not that there aren't issues with the CUSA board but at least all of us can have a good sarcasm meter and take it in stride.

Really??? You're gonna come to this board and talk smack towards a Cusa school? First of all, this thread technically shouldn't even be on this board, it is addressed to members who aren't even going to be in this conference in a month and a half It would be better served on the big east board, it's not like the posters who this thread is addressed to, only post on this board and not the aac board. it makes no sense for it being here unless the sole intention was to ..... I for one don't care that it's here, or if the intention was to stir the pot, because honestly, it makes it interesting. At the same time though, I don't want people, like in some earlier post in this thread, crying about doom and gloom.

former members of CUSA still visit CUSABBS because it was always the best board on CSNBBS. it had just the right mix of smart, snark, smack, and senile. unfortunately, it, too, was destroyed by realignment.
