1 seed: USA if they win,
Troy if they win AND FAU wins and ULL loses

2 seed: There is a fancy three team tie potential between Troy, FAU, and ULL if Troy loses and the others win today. ULL gets the 2 seed in this case because they took two of three from both schools

So: Troy is the 2 seed with a win and no help, or a loss and a ULL loss.
ULL is the 2 seed with a win and a Troy loss
USA is the 2 seed with a loss and FAU finishing with the 3 seed

3 seed: Troy: Loss, FAU Loss, and ULL win
FAU: Win and Troy win, and ULL loss
ULL: Win and Troy win

4 seed: FAU: Win with no help, or a Loss
ULL: Loss and FAU win

5 seed: WKU

6 seed: FIU

7 seed: ASU/UALR winner

8 seed: MTSU with a win AND a ASU win
ASU with a loss
UALR with a loss AND MTSU Loss

How bout them apples?

Not correct..

If
Troy wins and ULL and FAU go undefeated then Troy gets #1 seed
Since Troy has a over all record of 3-3 over both ULL and FAU where as USA has a 2-4 record.

Really? Are you sure? You look at combined records as the tiebreak, instead of who would be the 3 seed?

No: ULL owns a 3 team tiebreak because they are 4-2 vs Troy and FAU. ULL beat FAU 2 of 3 this year
My understanding is the FAU tiebreak is broken first before consulting the 1 seed tiebreak.

Yeah, that doesn't seem right to look at combined records, while ignoring who would be the actual 3 seed.

Perhaps your AD is wrong? I just re-read the tiebreak rules and it states that if two teams are tied the tiebreak is record against the next highest seed. If Louisiana and FAU tie, Louisiana has the tiebreaker so Louisiana would be the next highest seed. Therefore USA would win on that tiebreak.

If the SBC decides a tiebreak that way, we will be the only league to ever decide it that way.

Of course, this is Karl Benson we are talking about.

This from someone who works in the Athletic Department at TROY.

@adprende_TROY
To clear up tiebreaker Confusion-- confirmed from SBC office, if Troy wins and ULL & FAU are tied, Troy will be the No. 1 seed.

FAU is kicking the holy 01-rivals out of FIU over the weekend for the sweep. Bats are getting hot at just the right time.

Best FAU can wind up with is the 2nd seed if it all works out from what I understand.

You may be correct. Also we've won 6 of the last 7 series against MT. 2-1 in 2009-10, 3-0 and 2-1 in 2010-11, 1-2 and 2-1 in 2011-12, 3-0 and 3-0 in 2012-13.

ASU decided for a nice staff day today to save pitching. It honestly looked like our players decided it wasn't important since we had already clinched a tourney spot. We made like 7 gazillion errors and lost 8-1

We get the 8 seed in Lafayette and will play USA or Troy. Truthfully the 8 seed may be a better draw than the 7 looking at who is on what side of the bracket.
