If Bzdelik has another bad year, he should be on his way out. You should only give a new coach 4 years. (I say that and Frank Beamer was 2-8-1 his 4th year but he was overcoming 2 years of probation and it looked like his teams were very close to winning.)

If they do replace their AD, I hope he keeps Jim Grobe. He's done a great job even though that ACC title and BCS bowl is getting further and further behind us. The new AD will probably look at Wake losing money on football and decide to cut his loses with Grobe and his staffs relatively high paychecks.

I wish I could take credit but it is the actual title of the article.

Wake may have Georgia Tech Syndrome. They may have to wait until they recover financially to be able to do anything about it.

Wake is just a good example of the pendulum swinging back too far. Dino Gaudio had the Deacs ranked #1, but off the court incidents had almost every one of his players either in trouble with the law or the University (or both). Wake's president wanted the program "cleaned up".

Never quite recovered after Prosser passed away. The ironic thing is Skip was seconds from signing a deal to coach his hometown Pitt Panthers just before rumors surfaced that Miami and VATech were leaving the Bigeast... Prosser got nervous and went to Wake. Wonder how different the hoops landscapes for our two schools would have been had that not happened?

Who was Wake's back up after Prosser?

Where would have Jamie Dixon ended up?

Grobe cannot even be up for discussion. NOBODY does more with less. Just the fact they can put a competetive team on the field is remarkable.
