How many of those articles appeared in the main stream media outlets? I think that's the point.

For example, ABC news didn't air a single story on the trial from the time it started until yesterday when the conviction came down. Not one. In comparison they ran over 180 stories on the Arias and Knox cases.

Given the sensationalistic nature of "news" these days running 180+ on those two isn't surprising. But don't for one second think that if the angle of the Kermit case had been the opposite they wouldn't have ran with it daily.

I don't own a TV so I can't speak to ABC's tv coverage but ABC has covered it on its website since April.

News outlets covered it but the public didn't seem to care as much about it compared with the other big news stories going on. The media only ramps up coverage of a story if it generates $$$$$.

If you want to blame anyone, blame the public for not caring as much.

So the latest report is Gosnell will forgo the appeals process if he's not put up for the death penalty... If he's thinking life imprisonment is the way to stay alive... I guess he doesn't know that the prison has their own "rating" for criminals does he?
