I think he's on to something...

A whore house that has taxes going to paying for Pre-K for all illegitimate children is a brilliant idea. There'd probably be enough money to put them through kindergarten.

We will know the state is serious about its anti-gaming passions when the state outlaws the recruitment of athletes from those schools in states that support their programs with gaming funds. As it presently works, about 4/5ths of AU and UA signees are from such schools. Had such a law been in effect the last several years, we would have lost both Heisman Trophy winners, most of our NFL draft choices, and probably all of the 4 BCS NCs won while we were cutting back on per pupil public school funding at the highest amount in the USA.

In 1997 when B'ham City had one computer per academic department in its high schools, the GA high school I went to work for had one new computer in each classroom, several in each teacher lounge and a dozen or so in the library, and they told me that Baldwin County (Milledgeville) had the most primitive (technologically speaking) set ups in the state.

I don't personally know all the other districts (GA has 159 county systems plus many city systems), but I did see that teachers left for other GA districts at a high rate (20+% per year) and often for better pay and working conditions.

Guess we know how you're going to spend your winnings.

During my 2 years working in GA, I played the lottery from time to time but never had more than 2 numbers right. If I should play & win today, I would consider it fair to give some to the B'ham City school district since they supported me and mine for 33 years (1964-1997). It would also be fun to become one of the higher levels of Blazer athletic program support groups too, like my brother. Maybe I could give enough to get a "BAMANBLAZERFAN MEMORIAL TURNSTILE" one day at the new OCS.
