UConn's second step to becoming big in hockey.
The hiring of a BC assistant coach to lead the Huskies into Hockey East next year. The first step was to get the Hockey East invitation a few months ago.

In my opinion, UC really NEEDS to look strongly at getting into hockey... Not likely happening, I know, but this is a sport that we need to get into...

Hockey will probably never be anything more than a club sport at UC.

Love college hockey...grew up watching it and going to games (Princeton).

Still wish UCF had spent $1 Million to put in the ice/water piping system when the UCF Arena was built in 2007...love to have UCF's Club team and/or minor league team play in our new Arena....or maybe some day, become the "southern most" univ to offer up Div I hockey.

Hockey can survive in the South. The Stars do pretty well in Dallas.
