Some mod notes
Glad to see y'all giving this board a chance. As it continues to grow I'm sure you'll have a full time SEC mod here. Generally the crowd seems to be cordial so I probably won't be needed much. I tend to think any trouble will come from the outside. In the meantime I can help mod here but I'm going to need your help since I'm not going to diligently scan threads. Either PM me or hit report and I'll get to it asap.
We're probably not going to see much growth until the server issues are fixed. And it may also take months for it to grow. Sometimes it may be frustrating only seeing a core of 6-10 posters, but the best way to keep it going is simply by posting. Over time you'll start to see people trickle in. One suggestion is to PM your friends on Scout and/or 247. It sucks that Rivals doesn't have a PM feature.
Keep posting fellas

Outsiders are welcome as long as they can discuss instead of just cuss. Everyone's entitled to an opinion, but informed ones are preferred. Some of the best discussions can be had with B1G folks and PAC folks because they inform arguments from their unique perspective. The same can be true for Big 12 and ACC fans when they aren't hyper defensive. I just love how some of them go ballistic on this board defending their teams and conferences and then on their school's home sites they express the same doubts, likelihoods, and scenarios that send them over the top here. I read one of our Big 12 posters on his home site the other night talking about how if his team was lucky enough to receive a SEC or B1G invite they needed to leave because they couldn't trust Texas, but here on this board he defends Texas to the hilt and declares that his team should never leave the Big 12. Let your yeas be yeas and your nays be nays. The internet is a wide open place.
The folks who have signed in here represent a variety of opinions but they all have 1 trait in common. If they are disagreed with coherently and logically they remain engaged in the argument at hand and not in personal attacks. It may be hard for many folks to understand but the SEC as a conference tends to operate this way. The radical whackos get shunned (or put on trial). As a whole we are very specific about who we support, but as a group we tend to act more like extended family.
If most of those coming into this board are SEC people they will already know this. JR
