Except the one school they would take from the Big12 with encumbered rights doesn't want to go, and nobody is leaving the SEC (just like nobody is leaving the Big Ten). So the odds of either of those happening anytime soon is quite low.
Surely when the Big12 GOR is a few years from expiration, there'll be a bit of looking around to see whether things have changed, but until then, P5 "conference realignment" will be an occasional squint around by the Big12 whether there's a pair of Go5 schools that are worthwhile inviting.
There is still realignment to come in the Go5, since the Sunbelt is one school shy of the 12 it is aiming for, and the MAC is at an awkward 13 in football, so either has to find a 14th or tell UMass to toddle along somewhere else.
And of course the aftershocks of the New Big East in the non-football subdivision have just started, some of which may spill over into the FCS subdivision, and there are likely to be two more schools invited into the New Big East, which will set off a new round of aftershocks.
But if this was restricted to being a "Major Conference Realignment" discussion board, it'd end up being as busy as an Atari or Commodore 64 newsgroup on Usenet.
