Doesn't mean they have us 4th at all. Just means 2nd and 3rd place bowls would select another school above us.

Yea... looks like they are keeping UCF in Orlando, which would make some sense. Though, if part of the idea is to bring people to your city, would UCF be their best choice. I guess there would be a balance between tickets told and bringing people.

I imagine the Belk will seek to avoid UC back to back years if a good option is above them.

Basically this just means that CBS has Louisville winning the conference.

Kind of thought that also,UCF in the russell athletic bowl makes sense, and the belk would probably not want us 2 years in a row!!!

We need to hope UCF is not upper Bowl worthy! I want BCS or Russel at worst. Belk would not want us again 2 years in a row. Pinstripe is too cold and expensive.

I still fail to see why everyone here is so confident you're going to beat us next year.

I still fail to see why you think you belong on our board. And yes, we will beat you again this coming year.

Just curious, why would the Belk avoid us this year? We traveled well last year, played an exciting game and, other then our coach and half the staff not being there, everything went pretty well. If we are in position to go to the Belk again (hopefully we'll be in the BCS game), I imagine the Belk would consider us, unless there's some Big EastAAC rule about attending the same bowl game in back to back years.

I wouldn't be surprised if Louisville comes into Nippert with 1-2 losses: UCF and Rutgers, but I'd like to see us and them to be undefeated in the last week. It would make the victory that much sweeter.

Sad that I have to say this in a second consecutive post, but for real, MOUTHWASH DENNY CRUM'S/CHARLIE STRONG'S/BRIAN BROHM'S/ETC. BALLS ON YOUR OWN BOARD.

These projections and $3.70 will get you a gallon of gas anywhere in the tri-state. They're as meaningful as the bracketology that comes our right after the championship game in April. I too expect this Bearcat team to compete for the conference championship and land in the Fiesta Bowl after knocking off Louisville in Nippert.

gocards - it's not hard to figure out - 1) you are playing at Nippert 2) despite bad qb play/BJ's coaching mistakes/having one of our best players out/playing on the road/some bad officiating - we still took you to OT and played you better than FL 3) you are on a UC board

I remember the last house I lived in had a rather large glass window in the dining room. Every day a male cardinal would fly
into the glass and knock himself half conscious and drop to the ground only to do it again the next day. Go figure.

Ha... male cardinals must be the dumbest birds ever, because the one that lives by my mom's house does that every morning as well. Repeatedly going headfirst into the glass.
