At the 2011 Final Four three schools was approached by the CUSA Commish and was told they would like to bring them in as a three school package. Those three schools were ODU, JMU and Delaware. All three declined at the time but Wood Seling the ODU AD called CUSA two weeks later and ODU had changed their minds.
Except for expanding the football stadium, they are ready to move up.
JMU would need some improvements and Delaware needs a lot of renovations including their HS looking stadium. I don't think they have the drive to move up and will stay IAA as long as its viable to do so.
what improvements?
I'd say the only improvement is a huge one- new basketball arena. It seems like all the other venues are just a few years old and would definitely be sufficient for a move up.
we are doing something about the basketball arena.
I just want to hear from the Marshall fan about what improvements he thinks we need to make.
More flaps!

RE: Idiot-proof part 2
I am here and checking in most every day. It has been a real busy spring with my son finishing up HS and his varsity baseball season. I will be back on the boards here but I am not renewing my football season tickets primarily due to various family commitments over the fall including my son heading to VT :-(
