Coaches recruit players for years. Just because he was here last year does not mean he was never involved with that kid

Really? Anyway just looking at rivals CGM name was on the side of the QB and WR. The Dline coach name wasn't on the side of any of them. So I would figure those two with us having a better shot at WR to replace D. Scott.

We don't need any of those transfers. Mitchell was derailed to play WR for a reason, he wasn't good enough to play QB. JMO. Coach McGee doesn't really have time for a project. The defensive end has had a DWI and 3 other charges.

Brandon Mitchell, 6'4'' and 230 lbs with enough speed to play some time at WR. He sounds like he might be a great addition to our corps of RBs. 23 runs for 75 yds and 2 TDs from QB suggests that as a full time RB, he might do even better.

While there are some cases where 5th year players can help in basketball, I don't see too many cases where it really helps in football.

I'm sure someone will come up with a few examples though where it has.

If CGM thinks he could win us more games this year at QB than Perry or Brown then I'm for it. Could help with recruiting if he has a good senior season.

One notable player that comes to mind is Russel Wilson of the Seattle Seahawks who played 3 years as the starter at NC State before transferring to Wisconsin for his Sr year. Turned out pretty well for him...

Especially if he can pack on 50 pounds before fall 03-lmfao

At 6' 4" , he probably could easily handle 15 to 20 more lbs by fall if willing to play RB. Where he is now, he could make an impact if Coach McGee feels he is good enough to play @ QB this season. I am doubting that he would transfer to any nonBCS school and play a second choice position.

For the love of all that's holy, stop it, just stop it! We have running backs, we have good solid running backs and another one coming who won't be with the team till the fall.

Play him at linebacker. For the 945th time, we're fixed just fine for running backs.

For a career educator, I'm amazed you seem so unwilling to let something so axiomatic into your skull.

It takes all the fun out of it when you parody yourself.
