WKU has nothing to be ashamed of. Great season, great team. Good luck in your regional.

Serious question and i know this may derail this thread but where do you think ya'll are going?

More than likely CUSA.

Not happening

Chief, I would like to know who you are talking to? I'm not certain UL is going to get either, but you just might want to talk to your sources about who is on their agenda right now. BTW, I'm sure the same person that visited your campus has visited UL as well. Thanks

I have heard nothing to indicate anything involving ASU at this time. Most interest has calmed down since the Go5 revenue was agreed too.

Of course, id almost rather not move anyway.

RE: Softball and Baseball Belt Tourny
I think USA clinched hosting the regional with their performance in the conference tournament. I am really proud of our ladies for winning today and for winning for the second time in a row. We might not have a history like Louisiana (we are only 7 years old) but we are not a one hit wonder type team. We are here to stay.

I'm really proud of our conference as a whole. We all know Louisiana is good, so that goes without saying. But WKU deserves a lot of credit this year too. I can't wait to follow all three teams in the regionals this year! Good luck!

With Campbell and Beard, I don't think USA is a one hit wonder either. We should get 3 in this year with USA, UL and WKU. But you will soon learn politics does play a role in seating.

Okay, then we will wait to see what happens. Just because they decide to table a vote on the 16 program model this summer, it doesn't mean they are done.

Considering Louisiana Lafayette is 2-4 against USA and WKU I'd say yes we will see. Regardless it's a 3 team race. The winner will most likely be one of Louisiana Lafayette, WKU, or USA. What's weird is there is no clear favorite and I don't know that is something we can say about the softball tournament very often.

Well, we see who the "clear favorite" is.04-cheers

Good luck with that. When I had Dish, I went round and round with them over CSS, but they won.

Congrats to the Jags and Toppers. Cajuns stranded like 15 runners against WKU and you just won't win many games against good teams when you do that.

As far as Meyers not being a great player, she is still the very best position player in the Sun Belt, no question.

Comcast kept CSS and a couple of other Comcast sports channels (notably in Philadelphia) from Dish and DirecTV, apparently thinking exclusivity could drive subscribers.

There was a discussion somewhere on this forum that Comcast has lost that battle and will no longer be able to keep content all to themselves any longer. So I'm hopeful that CSS will eventually be on the satellite providers.
