SBR: To help get used to new homes: Map of American English Dialects
A helluva lot of research displayed in an excellent format! The link is to the large-scale map...there is a link there to switch to small-scale.

I had to laugh at the little circle around Pittsburgh and the fact that the map recognizes that Downtown New Orleans has its own dialect.

It is interesting to me because I grew up near Pittsburgh and now live 75 miles from downtown New Orleans. That map is correct.
