I think WKU or stAte will win it anyway. I see the Cajuns going 8-4 again with two Belt losses, out of stAte, ULM, WKU, or Troy.

I'm starting to notice that it's the Cajun fans that bring this up FIRST on non-gsu related threads in the last week or so, you want our more annoying posters to stop chest thumping, don't encourage it. Anyway, I'm looking forward to watching a solid Cajun team on tv, I will have a lot more football to keep up with this season now that I'll be interested in the success of two different conferences.

Not at all. I'm much more likely to strike the Liberty hornets nest just for fun.

I think you Ga. Southern folks are starting to grow on me. Besides, I really, really like Savannah.

There's an App for that. You can get shots and have it cut off.

It dawned on me that if the Sun Belt was Bushwood Country Club, then Ga. So. is Al Czervik. The new guy who is brash and irritating to the establishment, but at the same time funny and likeable in a weird way.

I just don't want us stuck in the Judge Smails role.

Yes, he took his name out of the running for Ole Miss, turned down Kentucky and Tulane.

Hud wants to coach at Miss State and as long as we continue forward with the facilities and Dan Mullen wins and remains at State then IMO he will remain our HC.
You are lucky he has his eyes on a certain job.

We darn near lost him last year to Tulane! He was obviously pissed that the administration was not fulfilling their promises, and pretty sure he is NOT a fan of the current AD. So, I could see him leaving if things get slow-rolled WRT upgrades, and the "right" option (other than MSU) comes up.
Still hope we can hang onto him for a few more years! He is building a very respectable program in Cajun Country.

That is true, but our puppet AD is in name only for most decisions.

Coach Hud is from Louisville, MS which is about 30 miles south of Starkville. He grew up a Mississippi State fan and coached there before he came to UL. I'm not sure what his list of dream jobs entails, but Mississippi State is high on that list.
