Sports Information sucks. There's not even a picture of Thomas on the website.

The bio says Hirini is a reserve on the team -- wow. So, coach, why is your top player on the bench?

It seems like every time I read a UAB ladies athletics article, I am left thinking there is a lot more politics that goes on between the coaches and players on their side of the house.

#UAB sand volleyball players Bethanie Thomas and Kiriana Hirini picked up the Blazers' first ever win at the AVCA Nationals today.
The Blazers' sand volleyball duo took down the No. 1 seed in Pool A and will play tomorrow with a chance to make the championship match.
