Marc (OJF on CAAzone) was a steadfast supporter of JMU and JMU Athletics for over 30 years and this year we will once again be honoring his memory with the annual golf tournament fundraiser he helped create.

There will be a few coaches participating as well as representatives of the Duke Club. Great opportunity to rub a few elbows and perhaps make yourself one of the insiders

1:00 p.m. Shotgun Start

$80.00 per player: (4 Players/Team) Captain's Choice Format.
(cart, range balls, lunch, dinner at Brock’s, silent auction, giveaways, beverages on course)

OJF was 007's beloved father and my older brother. He gave thousands of hours of dedicated service to the Duke Club and JMU. I would love to see a couple of teams from Richmond, NOVA and Tidewater participate. He and Steve Berry ran this tournament for many years. Please help honor Marc by being a part of this years tourney. Hope to see you there. Gary

Living in Arizona I will be unable to attend. Do the proceedes go to the Duke Club or Charity? I will make a donation and company matching funds in Marc's name to the appropriate organization.

If someone doesn't mind dragging along a guy that absolutely sucks at golf, I'd probably be game.

Just wanted to update everyone. We are expecting the following coaches from JMU at this year's tournament:

Mike Dean (Men's Basketball)
Dave Lombardo (Women's Soccer)

Unfortunately, will be traveling with my students to Atlanta that weekend into Tuesday, 6/4, so no dice. Look forward to embarrassing myself as a golfer at a future event.

Off to play in my brother's tournament! Playing with Marc's son Jon, Mike Hart (Hart Foundation, formerly known as Harpoo) and Mike Deane. My back is hurting already! I live 200 yards from the clubhouse. Tough gig.

Mike Deane was a trip!!! One hell of a nice guy .... good to see all the "regular" JMU faithful at the tourney!!! HMK, BSKB24, Mike H, Stewie ... etal ... great day, weather was perfect ..... OJF sent us a bluebird day .... as usual ... miss the guy .....
