Anthony's last start?
Rendon starting for the Nats again tonight. Zimmerman returns tomorrow and Anthony probably will be sent down. By the way any Card fans out there know what today is?

RE: Anthony's last start?
Anthony lined out to left in his 2nd AB, then singled up the middle his third time. I think all three ABs he had two strikes, but put them all in play.

Give that man a cigar. Jack Buck's first season as Cardinal broadcaster was 1954. He said "does he do that every Sunday?" referring to Musial's five home runs one Sunday afternoon against the Giants.

I always found it interesting that former Astros prospect Nate Colbert attended the games as a kid growing up. After going to the Padres, he later became the only other person to do it.

Funny but on the MLB network earlier they were talking about Mike Cameron's four in one game on this day in 2002. I knew Stan had hit 5 in a DH but couldn't remember when and looked it up. Was surprised that they were both the same day, and also surprised that Stan's did not get mentioned. But he was always kind of the understated superstar.

Ball must jump out of the park on May 2nd.

And its official - being sent back to Harrisburg - but the article notes a lot of positives from the experience:

Johnson had a lot of positive things to say. Hope AR can make his way back to the majors soon.

RE: Anthony's last start?
I once saw Bob Horner hit 4 in one game at old Fulton County stadium, but the Braves still lost. The one at-bat he didn't homer, he left the bases loaded, the Heineken-guzzling bum...

Anytime I hear the names Nate Colbert and St Louis in the same sentence I think of the Bob Shirley quote:
"Tradition here (in St. Louis) is Stan Musial coming into the clubhouse making the rounds. Tradition in San Diego is Nate Colbert coming into the clubhouse and trying to sell you a used car." - Bob Shirley (1981)
