That actually looks suprisingly accurate. They should have included pizza, though.

I really, really want a spiedie now.

Is bark a name of a dish or a slight against that region?

Bark is a sleight against the region. They outlined the Adirondack State Park...hence the only food to eat up there is bark.

Syracuse offers more than Dinosaur BBQ...they forgot about our Salt Potatoes

Watertown should be cheese curd.

The map is fairly accurate but it left off Hoffmann's Coneys and Red Hots, Hinerwadel's Clam Bakes and Salt Potatoes.

All you guys visiting Syracuse are gonna get fat!

I'm the guy. (FYI I am originally from the Watertown area). I never eat wings. I'm the guy that eats all the celery and carrots they serve with wings LOL! I like spicy food but don't like Buffalo sauce. It's not just the sauce though. I don't like wings. I don't LIKE potato chips but I do eat them, just not very often. Yep, I am that guy. You knew he existed somewhere.

I am NOT the guy that grimaces and says, "How can you eat that," while people are eating.

I got to hand it to you though, Buffalo wings can be one of the most unhealthiest things a person can eat. Kudos to you for not liking them. They are my weakness, although I prefer dry rub wings, which are healthier, I guess.

Believe me a chicken wing is always unhealthy no matter how you make them! For the record I am a traditionalist when it comes to wings. And Zweigle's rule!!!!

It's not a healthy eating issue. No one would ever accuse me of that. I don't really care for chicken (which is very problematic when you live in North Carolina) and wings are the worst part of the chicken. Ice cream is my vice!

Weirdo is one of the nicer things I have been called when people find out I don't like wings. 04-cheers

Try Carvel's when you visit Syracuse. That should satisfy your ice cream vice.

You know Carvel is a national chain, and not a local CNY ice cream place, right? He can go to a Carvel in North Carolina. 03-wink

Wolfman- try Gannon's Isle ice cream. It's homemade and a 'Cuse institution. You could also just grab a pint of Byrne Dairy ice cream which is almost as delicious, or drive a little down the highway to Ithaca and grab a pint from the Cornell Dairy Barn. Cornell legit makes the best ice cream in the world.

Perry's is also a good brand to grab in local grocery stores. It's not a Syracuse company, but it is Upstate NY.

I mentioned them because they started in NY.

Carvel is here though I'm not sure exactly where. The NCSU dairy also makes ice cream. It is awesome if you can get it before they freeze it too hard.

We also have Goodberry's here. Most of what they sell is custard based. It is closer to yogurt than ice cream but still very good. There is a local that makes gelato for specialty stores. I haven't found her yet, which is probably a good thing.
