ULM utilizes the 3-3-0. At least we did last year, I hope our DB play improves this year.

Officially ASU runs a 3-4 but we throw all sorts of different looks. We might have the NG and DE's standing with two LB's on the line as down linemen. One play we might have three down and a conventional four LB set or four down with 2 LB's in conventional formation with a third LB back like a safety.

I think John Thompson has about 4 plays and runs them from about 10 sets. :)

The cajuns started last year in a 3-4 alignment, but after stAte put up almost a billion on us we started discussing a switch, and officially switched for the Florida game that we almost upset (and frankly, should have won). This upcoming season, I believe we will stick in the 4-3, but nothing is set because our old DC is no longer with us. Our new DC is former OLB coach from the 2009 Alabama National championship team, and former DC for Texas Tech. He seems like an aggressive mind and I'm hoping he does for the Defense what Jay Johnson has done for our Offense.

To be fair, when looking at the run stoppage and pass rush, it seemed we really played a 2-2-5.

Troy runs a 4-3.
