CUSA is the SBC and the SBC is restarting all over again. So in a sense neither one is really better at this point until games are played to figure that out. Markets and tv deas aside, look at what these teams are going to do stat wise coming up. I don't care about what anyone did in the 90s or even further back. Recent success and what your school is doing now(ex: UL expansion)is most relevant at this point in predicting what you'll do in the near/now future and how you're going to achieve it.
Not discrediting any CUSA schools. I've seen/heard of what some of the schools are doing. My argument is towards not just looking at tv deals/markets. One day that will come to an end and then we'll all wish we had closer rivalry games to go to.
ULL isn't doing anything. They just announced a plan for the future. They claim the money has already been raised, but nothing will ever happen. Their coach has one more year there and then they'll return to their mediocre ways, attendance will decline and they will not expand. Not bashing them, but they have no need for 50,000 seats and likely never will. Also, they've been a good program for the last 2 years (although they couldn't beat UNT last year), but historically they're a bottom-feeder in the sun belt. Don't look up to them. There are better role-models for Texas State.
Phase 1 of the Master Plan was approved at the University of Louisiana System Board meeting this afternoon. This includes bowling in the south endzone as well an expansion to the current IPF.
Total cost of Phase 1 is projected to be $21.6M.
UL will actually have work being done on Phase 1 within months of unveiling the Master Plan, while Tech is still in the 2 1/2 year waiting period to get started on Q4E.
ULL missed out in realignment. Constantly whining about it won't change that fact. It is time for you to face the fact that the ACC's GOR agreement ended realignment and ULL is on the outside looking in.
Maybe we did miss out, maybe we didn't. Still doesn't change the fact that we are starting on our projects within a few months of unveiling them while Tech is still waiting to get started on Q4E.

Silence has taken control of the realignment issue since the ACC passed the GoR. And I am loving it. Now if the B12 will just hold at 10 everythings gonna be alright be alright. CUSA will be able to develop

We're all on the outside looking in, my friend. We all missed out.
