Yep. The emails confirm they were lying from the start. But that's no big deal. Just ask Tom and Mach. Nothing at all to see here.

The IRS thing is blowing up by the hour it seems like. This is a media sh!t storm Obama has never had to face. The press have finally stopped bowing to him and are actually reporting on what his administration has been doing. It will never get back to him though. He's teflon. But what we can hope is that it cripples his support from dems who don't want to be associated with him and it stalls anything he wants to get done.

We're a nation of low info voters and the IRS situation will resonate because folks know of them and might fear that they themselves could become a target. But I still maintain that Benghazi is the scandal that could cause real damage.

Barack put on his outraged face and said all the right things about the IRS deal and some will believe him. Dog and pony show.

They are counting on people eventually saying, oh geeeez, this is just more of the politics as usual, I am SOOOOOO OVer all this stuff, I can't even keep up. What's going on with American Idol?

So yea, it's up to the Congress to do their Constitutional duty of oversight and keep digging for the truth. There should be no objections to finding out the facts. As already illustrated, what we have gotten so far is everything BUT the facts, so it will be up to them to keep pressing.

Watergate-esque or not, that 3rd rate break-in took years to fester.

This scandal-mania seems to be a new iteration of the Cloward-Piven strategy to overwhelm the news and (hopefully) push Benghazi out of the picture. Also, and more importantly, to overwhelm Issa's ability to push the investigations, as he will have too many and too much on his plate.
