On the C-USA board. Some blog called Miner Rush said UTEP is playing USC, Georgetown and Cincinnati in addition to The Battle for Atlantis where Kansas, Xavier, Tennessee, Villanova, Wake Forest and USC are expected to play.

That game could already be on the schedule and have nothing to do with SDSU or it could be replacement. Someone should ask one of the UC bloggers to look into that.

That's why I said looks like. You're right, it might have been on the schedule already or it might be the replacement game you guys were looking for. But anyway, with the recruiting class Tim Floyd is bringing to UTEP I hope we stay competitive but I expect Cincinnati to win that game.

Man, we are sure scheduling a lot schools out west (UTEP, SDSU, New Mexico, tournament in Vegas last year). Maybe it is further indication that these regional schools don't want to play UC.

NOBODY that is decent will come into the Shoe. They would rather pay a walkover for a sure win at home.

On the most recent GoBearcats.com podcast, I think it was Tommy G who believes the SDSU series is a 2 for 1 for UC, two home games for the Cats and one road game at SDSU. Also, speculation about two other major non-conference opponents but nothing was revealed.
