Exactly what one would expect from a team that is considered to have one of the most delusional fan bases in all of college sports.

I don't get the whole, "delusional fan base" talk. I guess having fans that expect to compete at the highest level and are passionate about supporting their team is a bad thing?

It wasn't my intention to offend you, and besides who said it was a bad thing to be annoying/delusional when it comes to your team? I didn't.

None taken. I try to be objective and its been my observation that Duke and UNC-CH fans like to paint State fans as delusional because they wish to keep the order of things over the last 30 years the status quo. They prefer having the Pack, second tier based on their own best self interest, so when a coach at State, Sendak for instance, comes under fire they say things like: "They are delusional, he has taken them to the NCAAT the last five years. They want to get rid of a good coach." When in fact Sendak had pretty much taken the team about as far as he could. He would win 18-24 games a year playing a weak ooc schedule and never really be competitive for recruits or winning games against Duke and UNC-CH. What they are really saying is that State fans should settle for just being okay.

Of course State fans do the same thing to ECU and ECU does the same thing with ASU.04-rock
