We are also recruiting Dre Mathieu, a 5'11 JUCO point guard. It is very likely we sign another guard.

I'm definitely missing something on that one...I don't get it.

He's most definitely a safety net for Powell not qualifying.

This year? It'd be Matthieu, because Craft isn't going to play. He will probably never play.

That makes sense, I keep forgetting Pookie has apparent grade issues. Hopefully he gets qualified!

I think the word is that grades are OK but he hasn't taken or at least achieved a high enough score on the ACT or SAT.

I hear there's a real good SAT/ACT tutor in Detroit...

...too important to the football team...just like Shaq will likely not grace a football field with cleats again...

Is CJP not letting Shaq play FB? If so, I could see CJF not letting Sam play basketball. Only seems fair...

Lacey simply because he would be sitting out and have 2 years left. I think Kane MAY be a better player but could cause chemistry issues.

Lacey.

Kane would sign and still think Marshall was the best team in the NCAAs

Ha, didn't mean the tourney.

Was going to say in the league/conf (to closer quote him) but that'll be nil going into next season

I have no knowledge of either being the case, but I wouldn't be surprised if that's the way the cookie crumbles.

I thought that was one of the main reasons Shaq came here. Bet mama ain't happy.

That makes me wonder. If Shaq is on a BB scholarship here and decides to transfer to play FB somewhere else, would he still have to sit out a year to play FB on a FB scholarship at another school? And if he can play FB w/out sitting out, can he also play BB on a FB scolly w/out sitting out a year?
