Went to both Widespread Panic shows in Alpharetta last weekend. Played some great stuff, will link some when I get home.

I really like that amphitheater a lot. Very easy to get in and out of, especially coming from Cobb Co. I might be going to see them in Oak Mountain in July, but I haven't finalized those plans just yet.

I haven't been there in a while, but I agree...it is a nice venue. I went to Further Fest there a summer or two ago.

If you like hard rock, this is a really good band I've been in to for years.

I did. Not bad. The lead's clean vocals have a Jonny Craig sound. Not a big fan of the super choppy breakdown on the first video that is virtually impossible to pull off live. A lot of bands are doing those now. Second video was solid. Thanks for sharing.

Clapton, Buddy Guy, Jimi, H'waylon Jennings, Conway, etc.

Louis to Miles Davis, Bach to Beethoven, and Canadian Indie music.

Very wide spectrum. I just love music altogether; it's something I will never take for granted.

Yeah, my wife was convinced it was Jonny. We're both big fans of his voice, and were happy to hear something similar out of a person (Gerard Rapp) who isn't a skeez. It's hard to be a fan of Jonny Craig when he does such lousy crap with his life, but damn that guy can sing.

This is actually The Color Morale's third album, all with Rise. Rapp changed his vocal style for this album and the band improved musically IMHO. His new method is less forced/manipulated, sounds more natural and just better.

Couldn't agree more about Jonny. Guy is such a lowlife. Extremely talented but just a horrible person. I have friends who are still big fans of his stuff, but I just can't convince myself to take the guy seriously again.

As much as I like the old Jonny, Dallas Green is still my all time favorite singer. Only thing Dallas ever did to make me upset is quit on Alexisonfire, but C&C is still a great band.

I may have to check out this latest Color Morale album when I get home from work.

Did you guys see this story? Tim Lambesis, lead singer of the band As I Lay Dying, was arrested on charges that he tried to hire an undercover detective to kill his estranged wife.

El Paso band, filmed in San Marcos.
I was really fascinated by the simplicity of their setup (especially the drummer).
