South Louisiana had quite a few, as well as the areas of Texas you would expect. None from Charlotte, but three from Rock Hill @ 35 miles South. Plenty from Atlanta and Miami area. Not so much for Tennessee, and I believe none from Kentucky. Eastern U.S. covered in draft picks, but pretty much expected.

Not surprising. I believe the state of Louisiana leads the nation in NFL players per capita. Watch in about 4 years the number of guys drafted from Louisiana. The 2014 Louisiana HS football class is supposed to be one of the best ever.

Texas and Florida usually have a lot of players, but a big factor in that is their populations.
