Miami will dominate UC again, that I'm sure of. There have been multi-year streaks where UC had success against Miami, but Miami will always come back and own UC because in the end thats what Miami does.

Miami cant even beat OU

Miami annually has one of the lowest paid staffs in D1A and we've got Tommy Tuberville. Our conference affiliation is going down but were still worlds away from having to worry about Miami. They've got a long ways to go to even compete in the MAC.

Sad thing is that now, under the new BCS / Access Bowl format, UC is in direct competition with Miami for a bowl slot.

Not true at all. The MAC has their bowl tie ins and their eligible teams are selected in however they do it in the MAC.

UC is and will be selected via their own conference bylaws. UC is in no way
in direct competition with Miami. Lets keep this thread on topic OK.

UC is very much in competition with Miami and every other teams that does not have a direct league affiliation to one of the big bowls. The one spot left for us goes to the highest rated team out of the "lower" conferences.

That dude is one of the worst trolls on CSN. I'd pile on, but he's just not worth the effort.

Miami is also in competition with Ohio State for one of the playoff spots too. Every once in a while you get a MAC team that is worthy of consideration, right now Miami is far from that school.

Cincinnati is realistically competing with its conference rival plus the best of the Mountain West for that spot. The other leagues are going to have to produce undefeated teams to offset the awful conference SOS.

Looking at Miami schedule there are going to be years where they are going to be lucky to win a non-conference game. I am not sure the MAC, Sun Belt, or C-USA schools have the players to win on the road against top 25 and power conference schools.

Miami has a ways to go if they want to just get within 3 TDs of us. The quality and depth of our roster vs. theirs is just on a different planet. We'd have to get hit pretty hard on the recruiting front for a period of several years for the talent levels to get close again.

UC fans have done much to stir the pot on the AAC board.

Sub referring to September 21 as "picture day" at Yager Stadium was pretty tremendous.
