"Line of Fire Lesson" of Boston.
Scary thought crept through my head this morning. Remember that Clint Eastwood movie where he is hunting down John Malkovitch who is trying to kill the President? What if the terrorists learn the lessons of Boston and improve the technique. These two guys were incredibly inept. If #2 just turns his hat the right way. Suspect #1 id was somewhat hidden. If they spent two hours trying to hide their appearance we NEVER would have caught them. To go to an extreme, I'm thinking Uncle Drew or Jeff Gordon Pepsi Max Commercials. Some very very basic make up techniques and these guys go scot free. It's just a chilling thought.

Lots of people who commit crimes without being caught on video doing so are caught, convicted, and punished.

I don't think they would of been caught. Nothing ties them to the bomb. All common materials. No fingerprints if they followed the "How to make a bomb in the kitchen of your Mom" guidelines.

Ohhhhhh gawd...... If they were smart which the next guy should be. We are living in a different world. I still can't believe we haven't seen a two person shooting team like the Malvo one. Two guys with one in a trunk taking the tailight out. Disrupts an entire city. It's an asymetrical war we are fighting. If we have one event every 5 years we are doing good I guess. You will NEVER eliminate this.

The world is not going to change completely. There are always, and always will be
mean idiots with no humanity out there. We need to fight those that would kill us
for no other reason than they can.

But they DID catch the Malvo team.

They caught lone wolf, survivalist Eric Rudolph.

They caught Tim McVeigh. They caught Charles Manson.

Where the Boston clowns would likely be caught is by something they did or said after the fact. Lots of people plan a great crime. What they don't plan is the getting away with it.

Remember, if Susan Atkins had kept her mouth shut, Manson might still be walking around a free man.

I don't think it's the Muslim teenager Jihad wannabe who you have to worry about... you watch too much evening news Mach. They get a couple here and there, but nothing on a large scale (even 9/11 was a small number of people killed when compared to NY population).

It's the quiet ones you should have nightmares about. We haven't heard from the militias and Texas for a while about seceding... all while doing our best to snatch their beloved 2nd amendment. Those guys took notes from Boston about how the military operates and I'm sure are sick of this failure known as Socialism and more specifically Barrack Hussein Obama, aka Barry Sorento.

The gov't knows this and has been stocking up in preparation.
