Rice with the early 1-0 lead after the top of the 1st.

1-0 Rice bottom 1. Byrd lead off single. Stringer walk. Stain beck SAC. Rat RBi single. Cook 6-4-3.

Line-up is Byrd CF, Stringer 2B, Stainback SS, Ratterree RF, Cook LF, Hoelscher 3B, Aquino DH, Perrott C, Ewing 1B. Simms P

In the first Byrd singled, Stringer walked, Stainback sac bunted, Ratterree with the RBI single, before Cook GIDP.

UH leadoff batter singles to 2B, and is sac bunted over to second.

Ewing chased a bad pich for third strike. The UH pitcher looks stronger now.

Lost my connection for a bit there. Next UH batter grounded out to first, advancing the runner, but Simms gets a K to end the inning.

Rice in the top of the 2nd gets a flyout followed by two strikeouts sandwiching a Perrott walk.

UH goes down 1-2-3

Nice B2 there for the OWLS. Good movement on the pitches..and the HP ump seems to be a bit more consistent than yesterday

Byrd doubles and Stringer gets hit, but Stainback with what sounds like a bad at bat strikes out. 1 out with Ratterree up.

Ratt walks on 4 straight pitches to load em up for Cook.

Cook get a 2-RBI, opposite field single!!

Wellbrock comes in to pitch and Hoelscher welcomes him with an RBI single to make it 4-0! Runners on the corners, still only one out.

Aquino follows with ANOTHER RBI single!

Perrott with a double down the 3B line scores 2 more! 7-0 Rice!

Perrot brings in two more with a double! Rice leads 7-0. UH changing pitchers.
