RE: CUSA School With The Best Football Stadium?

It seems odd to me, I guess. Is it open to have a view of the Murphy Center? Just seems an odd balance to me.
I believe it would be possible. There are plans, never have seen them personally, to expand up to around 50k and then 70k, IIRC.
As to actually enclosing the nw corner, why would we want to? I like that Floyd is not a cookie cutter type stadium. There is plenty of other ways to expand. One, I guess the easiest would be to add the 8 to 12 rows to the upper deck that were dropped to reduce costs when construction bids came in for the original expansion in the late 90s. I think the original capacity was set to be around 36k.
Until MT is actually filling up Floyd on a regular basis, no need to expand, IMO.

But they think the Alamodome is a good stadium for some reason. It's just dank, dark, and it feels old. A 50K on-campus stadium would be fantastic.
When was the last time you visited the Alamodome?
Edit: We aren't building a new stadium any time soon. We signed a 20+ year deal with the city.
The Alamo Bowl, 6 months ago. Still a run down, dank, dreary plane hangar with poor lighting and scoreboards from 1941.
Still has more people in it than Appogee
Even with your inflated numbers, you guys barely beat us in attendance. Sad, isn't it? When 21,000 is announced, 21K actually show up. So when 21K show up to Ford, you'll learn your place.
And they need to send thank you cards to A&M and TCU.
