Explosion at Fertilizer plant has hit "home" for many at TXST. Sophomore baseball player, Garrett Mattlege, is from West....a small community of 2700, 150 miles north of the University.

Along with Boston, I am following this closely and send thoughts out to his family and all of those affected.

It rained hard here today so it has slowed the search and rescue efforts. Numbers of dead, missing and injured are not locked down as they have so much to do and confirm. With no hospitals closer than 20 miles and victims in varying locatuons, information is, seemingly, hard to pin down.
