The lineup was a little more balanced, but injuries to seniors Jasmine Butler and Haley Johnson and forced Coach Dean to shuffle the lineup. Dukes still have enough pitching and offense to play with the teams in the regional, but the margin of error is dropped.

Yeah, Tennessee is web streaming all the games in the regional. I watched yesterday's game and they do a pretty good job. Not as good as MadiZONE, but still okay. UT has been posting the links here, but last I checked it hadn't posted the link to today's game:

MadiZONE is also doing an audio broadcast of the JMU games.

In a rain delay

it looks like the game resumes today at 11:30, tied 4-4 in the top of the 5th. We need to win three games today to make it out of the regional - that'd be an awesome feat.

Tall order for a team accustomed to using 2 starters. Can a softball pitcher go back to back days and be effective?

5-4 NC State in top of the 7th. We will have the 8,9 and leadoff spots batting in our last at bat.

NC State wins 6-4. Momentum from last night didn't carry over into other, and the Dukes didn't really get anything going offensively at all.

I would have liked to see what they could have done against Tennessee, but it was a great season regardless.
