Going to the basket alot means nothing better than an outside shooter. I can go to the basketball all day long, if I can't penetrate and get into the lane with some authority, I kick the ball around, the ball is stolen or I'm hung up at the key, what good is going to the basket all the time. He has great ability and quickness and that should aide him in all areas. He needs coaching to get open, get into seams and penetrate.

Yeah that's basically what I said when I talked about "avoiding the obvious pitfalls (fouls, turnovers, blocks, etc.)", but thanks for going into such detail to illustrate what "obvious" means.

I mentioned it a while ago, but Kevin Johnson's body language and demeanor reminds me a lot of Trey Burke. I hope can be anywhere close to as effective as a player...

BTW, for those that want to read more, I'll give GameTime a plug:

Kevin Johnson

OVERRATED:

Dixon was a good player and I enjoyed watching him. It's funny how UC fans will knock their own players and coaches. Go to a UL area and you will be hard pressed to find ONE person speaking negatively about anything in the UL program and/or it's players. Dixon was a fine player and I'm glad I was able to see him play.

Well that is about as far from untrue as you can get. I have family that goes to UL and when I go to visit, the exact opposite is the case with all the guys ive come across. They are the same as every other fan. If a player does something stupid, they voice their frustration and opinions just like everyone else.

Siva missed a few shots in a row and every single person in the bar started shouting pass the fu****** ball you arent as good as you think you are...and they are saying that about a 4 year senior leader

So id have to say, fans from all around are the exact same. Some fans are the annoying cheerleaders who never say anything other than oo good shot good try youll get em next time (after he shoots 5 horrible shots in a row) and some fans (who are also giant fans of the GAME in general) look for perfection in the game. Yes I know no one is perfect and there will be mistakes in every game you watch. Its the stupid mistakes that get me. The illegal screens, the 3 point shot with a hand in the face and 20 seconds on the shot clock, the missed layups/freethrows.

People react to things differently, but to say UL fans neveer have anything bad to say and UC fans are the only ones who ever do (basically what i get from people on this board in general) is just a lie

When we beat UL in football at Paul Brown, total meltdown. They wanted to run him out of town.

Ok, got your point. I heard some of it too on the way out of the game.
