WE? Are you suiting up for the Tigers on the 14th of Sept.? I had no idea there were active players posting here. What position do you play Seth?

RE: AAC QB's beware of Jacob Karam
I think Memphis will be more competitive than people think this year, and perhaps steal a game or two we shouldn't. But challenging the top of the AAC might take a few more years.

Rome wasn't built in a day, but the Tigers will improve this year. It just won't be enough to finish upper half of the AAC...

At some point, a mod will realize he is abusing his handle...and they'll ban him. At some point....don't know if that'll be next year or the year after though.

Never happen may be a tad extreme, but how long can Memphis live off these wins? The victories were against:

3-8 Southern Cal in 1991
7-5 Florida in 1988
7-5 Bama in 1987
2-8 Auburn in 1976
3-6-2 Auburn in 1975

I was talking about this year when I said never. Not an infinite trajectory into time.

Makes sense. My point was Gray's continued reliance on those generation-ago wins anytime some downgrades Memphis football on these boards. The fact that the "comeback" involves something from 40 years ago is telling.

Memphis has a high ceiling across the board in all sports.
