Isaiah Pead emerges from misery
Here's my story on Isaiah Pead. Hard to believe a guy so colorful and confident turning as down as he says he did, but he believes he's ready to put his "miserable" rookie year behind him.

Interesting, thoughtful conversation from Pead:

a good interview. Pead and Gilyard both are probably frustrated in their early pro careers. Both were so electrifying at UC that it's hard to comprehend them struggling for playing time. Hoping next year is the turning point of great careers.

I will be shocked if Mardy makes it out of camp with the Chiefs.

I think he has had some issues grasping the complexities of the playbook.

Nothing happened to him. In college he was able to get by on pure talent. In the NFL everyone has talent and only those who show a desire to be there and are willing to put in the work stick around.
