I'm loving the scene in Watertown right now. Crowds of people on the streets applauding and cheering for each police and EMS vehicle passing by. Awesome!!

It's not just in Watertown - they're partying in the streets at Northeastern, too!

How many colleges are located in the area? Sounds like a large college town.

hburg, a big college town is exactly what Boston feels like to me. Just off the top of my head, there's:

Harvard
MIT
Boston Coll
Boston U
UMass-Boston
Northeastern
Tufts
Brandeis
Suffolk
Wellesley
Berklee

And many more I'm forgetting. And it feels like a college/university is the anchor for many of Boston's/Cambridge's/Somerville's/etc's neighborhoods.

I just found out that my old boss and good friend's niece was severely injured. She was at the blue tent at the finish line. She suffered shrapnel injuries to the legs, bone fractures, two ruptured eardrums and singed hair. She was just released from the hospital and will recover. Her name is Sarah Girouard; please keep her in your prayers.

Great Job by the FBI on the Video on the street. BUT a private citizen found the Muslim coward, bleeding out on his property and notified the authorities. Great job by the individual American citizen, homeowner!

I thought it was really dangerous of that citizen whose boat he was hiding in to even approach the boat. If I saw blood on the tarp of my boat, I would just call the police there and tell them there is unknown blood on my boat.
He took a huge risk by looking under the tarp and was lucky that the suspect was passed out from blood loss. He could've found a gun in his face and we could have a hostage situation.

Absolutely, kudos to the private citizen. As Potomac stated, he may have taken an unnecessary risk, but his actions directly lead to the capture of the coward and is due any reward available. He did something the police tried to do, but were failing. I don't know this citizens background, therefore I need to be careful of what I say he did wrong. For all I know he might have been a Navy Seal and more qualified than any cop.

Very sorry to hear that. Hope they both have a full recovery.
