RE: Boston Marathon Bombed
This was a weird 24 hours. Shootouts, Parents and aunt in denial and claiming they were framed. Uncle calling them losers, city in lockdown, city in jubilation. Surprised that the family came out the way they did. But I guess culturally, it is something they do.

I don't know what -- from Obama's ideological point of view -- is the importance of avoiding the word terrorism. But there is clearly some reason for his doing so.

If you remember, during the Obama '12 campaign, they were implying that we were well on our way to vanquishing al-qaeda. One reason that Benghazi was such an inconvenience.

RE: Boston Marathon Bombed
Anybody else but me think that gathering in large crowds, waving American flags and chanting "USA! USA! USA!" is kind of tacky?

I understand the stress and all but relief can be expressed without acting like a bunch of tribal fools. Until we know the details down the road, we won't know if those at the Boston Marathon lost lives and limbs to some Islamist cell or just two brothers who got radicalized. It's not like the good guys won a major battle in a war.

Remember a young cop was shot today and killed. This shouldn't be a high school pep rally.

But who am I to tell others how to live. I abhor that trait in others.

Bin laden is dead, and al qaeda is on the run. funny stuff in a sad, ironic, sorrowful and not funny way at all.

Asleep at the switch doesn't begin to describe this, Benghazi on 9-11 and the FBI was told to look into this guy #perp1 in 2010.

I hope the handicap has come down a bit...

Simple. If he doesn't say the word, then we do not have terrorism under his enlightened administration.

If Dzokhar hadn't been found by the homeowner he probably would have bled out in the boat. He wasn't going much longer with gunshots to his neck and leg.

I hope the Feds don't confiscate the boat as evidence. The boat owner ought to sell it on EBay and give the proceeds to the Bombing Victims.

As elderly as he is he might not have used the boat for awhile. Would have
been bad for them to keep looking for him until the heat got to the body.
