The UH Spring game is tonight so I was just wondering what the attendance for the other AAC schools spring games are?

RE: Spring Game Attendance
Our in-season attendance doesn't really translate over to spring game attendance for whatever reason. I think the most I've ever seen at an ECU spring game was like 15-18k

If UCF gets more than 5K, I'll be shocked. I'd love to add to the figure, but my family has already been triple-booked for that day.

That is curious. I would've guessed y'all were getting about double of that.

Tiki Head doesn't do a spring game. We have a "Fan Fair" instead. Here's the ad for the fan fair this year:

Theres a myriad of reasons for that. I wont disparage folks on a public board.

Basically.

Marketing for it has been uninspiring too. Sucks I have to work tomorrow...

RE: Spring Game Attendance
UC didn't hold a "Spring Game" this year. Just a final scrimmage. But we do have a baseball game with Louisville at GABP as part of a Reds DH.

Last year, the "Bearcat Bowl" was cancelled due to severe weather
The previous year the attendance was somewhere in the 10k range.

The biggest "Bearcat Bowl" attendance was in 2009 before the 12-0, Brian Kelly season. I think the attendance was somewhere near 15k for that one, but they had everyone on the "home" side of Nippert so every time the cameras showed the field (shooting from the home side), it looked like nobody was there. The next year, they had everyone sit on the "away" side (east, looking west) where the setting sun blinded you for the first part of the game...

They were saying on the radio that we're expecting 40k plus this year! We've never had a crowd that big! But then again, the weather has rarely cooperated. Tomorrow is different though and the university is really taking care of the fans and we're expecting 65 and sunny! Check the itinerary!

-$1 beers before AND during the game
-FREE carnival for the kids pregame (rides, games, etc)
-FREE concerts pregame
-FREE pictures taken with the basketball championship trophies
-At 10:00, the top 10 softball team plays... FREE admission
-At 11:00 the top 20 Tennis team plays... FREE admission
-Stadium gates open at 12:00
-FREE autograph session with the women's team
-Kickoff is at 1:00... admission? FREE
-Full 15 minute quarters, luxury boxes open to general public
-Men's and women's basketball teams honored at halftime
-At 3:00 the top 10 baseball team plays... FREE admission (as always)
-Just like every baseball game... $1 beers and $1 hot dogs

Mid spring after noon on Saturday in Eastern NC? You do know the beach is 90 minutes away right?

But, we do have BBQ contest that will have about 150+ people entering and plenty of pre-game stuff going on.

This is the 29th or 30th year of the Pigskin Pig Out at ECU, it a pretty cool even sounding the spring game, wish we could get more people to go.

Tulsa World reported Tulsa's Spring Game - really more of event than a game - at 3,000. I personally think that might be a little generous but it was a fun day and enthusiatic crowd.

Congrats and all, but 33 is a little shy of the 40k+ that was being bandied about upstream...

It's what they said on the radio. I'll believe 40k in Lexington when I see it.
