The best coaches, regardless of which sport they coach, is first a good teacher. One of the best teachers I ever encountered was Robert Scott when he coached BB at WEHS and taught in the History Dept. He later improved the performance of every program he worked in, UAB and then Bama. Had he lived longer, he would have become a great Head Coach as well.
