Drafting them that high that often is pretty #QBU. The fact that they failed to perform afterwards is not Tulane's problem.

Marshall had 3 in a row during roughly the same span, Kresser, Pennington and Leftwich (1996 thru 2002). Kresser is least known. He was primarily Boomer Esiason's back up at Cincinnati.

What it shows you is the success at our level of football is about 90% QB dependent. If you don't have a good one then you aren't going to accomplish much.

Quick edit, both Pennington and Leftwich were 1st rounders so I see your #QBU and raise you.
