not sure if it's in either of the links but the gators dline coach just resigned. they also just switched def coordinators. so, a lot of turnover on that side of the ball w coaches. i'm sure they will bring in a good coach to fill that role, but it may take them a bit to get the def staff in complete sync which is a good thing w us bringing in a dynamic veteran offense.

RE: Gators Spring Practice Reviews
I watched the Gator Spring final practice. There was no Spring game because of injuries to 6 OL, so they ran drills and did alittle scrimmaging ala Amstutz. Defensively UF was #5 in Total Defense and Scoring Defense last season. They have some question marks up the middle and in the defensive backfield. The Gators are a very fast, physical team on Defense and Offense. The main focus of their Spring has been going vertical more often and getting TDs instead of FG's once in the Redzone(sound familiar). Gator's brought former UK HC Joker Phillips in to coach the receiving corp, working on routes and fundamentals. The Gators have only one WR that scored a TD returning. WR Demarcus Robinson is an early enrollee. He was a top 5 WR coming out of HS and could easily become the big playmaker the Gators are looking for. Likewise, 5'11 216 lbs RB Kelvin Taylor, son of NFL great Fred Taylor enrolled early and looks to be the Gator's #2@RB. UF will still feature it's very physical running attack. Jeff Driskel will be the starter @QB. He's got a very strong arm but was sacked 39 times last year. I expect UF to take a # of shots downfield against the Rockets.Combine the hot, steamy Florida weather with a very physical Gator squad and the Rockets will be in for a real tough one in the opener, so they'll need to bring their "A" game,

Never sat with a bunch of Gator fans for 3 hours in the late August/Sept afternoon heat and humidity? There is a reason they call it "the Swamp"-let's hope for some overcast weather.
